Stringing - Heat Shrink Tubing - Black (foot)
Use this with Fat Rubber Cord to make a bangle armature for beading over. Cut it into 1 inch lengths to use. You can shrink the tubing with a good, powerful hair dryer, or by using a lighter and running the flame over the tubing. Here's a tip. Once the tubing has shrunk - let it cool before touching it. The resulting join resists pulling apart - but can be pulled open if you really try - which is fine for the purposes of beading around. (If you want the bond to not open at all - say you have some other purpose in mind, use your wire cutter to make a few small notches in the rubber cord - so that the shrink tubing shrinks into them.). While the tubing is cooling - the springiness of the rubber cord wants to pull the bracelet out of round - so wedge it between two books or something until it cools. 6mm (foot)

(And - it slides over and covers the crimps on cable. Excellent!) There are twoseparate pieces in the bag - length is the total length. I love the look of these, but I have found that if you put a pendant on them with a sharp metal bail with a sharp edge and then wear them every day for two months, you may find that the fuzzy stuff wears off where the pendant sits. The tubing that it is on, however, remains intact, so that is good. You might want to make sure the bail on the pendant is smooth. ;-) 3mm By the pack of 1.78 m.
