CreativeFX — a new way to be inspired

When Jen wrote about the "colour puddle" team - where someone else picks the colours and then you get to use the beads however you wish, it seemed like such a good idea and such a fun way to really get inspired and stretch the imagination - that we thought we'd do it so that you can play too.

So we have set up the Colour Challenge. We started with three colour challenge kits  - one each designed and chosen by different staff members. These are colour-coordinated sets of beads of various types, sizes, styles. We have pre-picked these in a limited number - when they are sold out - they are sold out! You have 45 days to make something with your set of beads,  and then send us a picture, and we will post it in our gallery, and enter it in our colour challenge draw. The winner (chosen at random) each month will receive a $25 gift certificate to spend at beadFX (in store or online) however you please.

After the contest ends - you can still send us your pictures and we will be happy to put them in the gallery, but they will no longer be eligible for the draw.

You can use all or some of the beads in the kit - you can add your own, using other beads, findings, etc, from your private stash, from us or even from <gasp> other vendors! The types of beads will vary - they might have seedbeads or firepolish or metal beads or stone or Swarovski or all of the above! You will be getting lots of variety for your money, and a change to play with some bead that you might not have otherwise discovered!

We will be adding new kit(s) with new colour-ways approximately every 6 weeks! At the end of the year - we will hold a Viewer's Choice contest from all the entrants (including the too-late-to-qualify) with a grand prize of a $100 gift certificate!
