Findings - Crimps - Scrimps with Tool - Silverplated (1)
Ok - when I first saw this, I was skeptical. It's a crimp tube with a screw in the side, you put your beading cable through, and tighten up the screw with the tiny little screwdriver (included). Great idea, I thought - bet the screw works loose. But it doesn't. I've tried it and I've worn my $500 dragon necklace out gardening, and it doesn't come loose. You can adjust the tension after the fact, or even adjust the length, should you need to. I think these are the best thing since crimp covers, maybe better. They look surprisingly professional too. Use with a Wire Guardian for a very polished look. Includes 10 scrimps with screws and extra screws and a screw together/apart tool for tightening the impossibly tiny screw and storing the extra screws. The scrimps themselves are about 3 mm.
