hbr1217 Metal Cap/Cone - Basketweave Cone - Bright Brass (1) Findings — Brass, Bronze, Antiqued, Brass Ox, Raw Brass — Caps and Cones

Bead caps fit over the end of a bead, and make a nice, finished look - works well for a single focal bead, or for a strand of beads - adding contrast and variety.

Cones are for finishing the ends of multi-strand pieces.

The reason we put them together is there is some overlap - many cones can function as caps, and vice versa.

Brass - the look of gold - without the price! Generally speaking, these are a plated metal, with a non-tarnish finish. You do not need to clean these, and do not use abrasive cleaning methods if you do - as you will remove the protective barrier. The exception are those labeled "Raw Brass" - which can be patina'd for an aged look.
