Furnace Glass / Cane

Furnace Glass or Cane Glass, is made by taking a huge glob of glass (called a gather) out of the furnace on the end of a pipe (called a "punty"), decorating the outside of the glob, and then pulling it out into a long thin tube while it is still molten. (This is why the decorations tend to be horizontal stripes, they stretch with the glass.) The tube is then sliced up. Our furnace glass is made in China, which makes it affordable to use more than one bead in your creations!
