Blue Tigereye

Found in many places around the world, including Canada, the USA, India, and parts of Africa. Blue Tigereye is a "pseudomorphous" stone - which means that it has the appearance of another mineral - i.e. a different crystalline structure than what you would expect. During the growth and formation period, Crocidolite is replaced with Silica (quartz). Blue Tigereye is also known as Hawk's Eye.

It has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale.

Metaphysically - it is said to be very soothing and aids in reducing stress, increasing calm, and easing anxiety.
