Delica 11/0 Beads (DB)

DB features a very fine and uniform shape, allowing your beaded jewelry to be vey intricately detailed. 11/0 Delica Beads (DB) is our most popular size of Japanese cylinder beads and are available in over 1100 colors. Miyuki Delica size 11 is ideal for peyote stitch, brick stitch, square stitch, and herringbone stitch or strung as-is for a more delicate look. 11/0 Delica beads can be either smooth or six-sided (hex cut), and measure 1.6mm x 1.5mm with a hole size of .8mm. Count is approximately 200 beads per gram.
The color numbers are consistent between all Delica sizes (DB,DBM,DBL,DBS)
Bead-Weaving using the a pattern gives you amazing detail. This difference is because of their character. The size of DB is well balanced for the 11/0 size, so it makes possible quite detailed bead designs. These tiny 1.6mm seedbeads are excellent for fine embellishment. Most creators working with seedbeads for a while treat this size and shape as their preferred media.
For consistant numbering and sorting, we use a 4 digit color number at BeadFX. DB-1 becomes DB0001 etc. Possibly differing in name, but the color number gives a perfect match.
