Delica 10/0 Beads (DBM)

These Miyuki Delica seed beads 10/0 from Japan are loved for their consistent shape and size and the large clean hole. 
Medium Delica Beads (DBM) are size 10/0 cylinder beads. They are slightly larger than the original 11/0 Delica Beads, but have the same even and symmetrical appearance. 10/0 Delica beads can be either smooth or six-sided (hex cut), and measure 2.2mm x 1.7mm with a hole size of 1mm. Count is approximately 108 beads per gram.

The color numbers are consistent between all Delica sizes (DB,DBM,DBL,DBS) Bead-Weaving using the same pattern as the smaller sizes makes a larger finished size, but keeps the detail. This difference is because of their character. The size of DBM is larger for the 10/0 size, so it has made possible stunning bead designs.

These 2.2mm seedbeads are excellent for embellishment and are often used for knitting. Also enjoyed by those who have been working with seedbeads for a while and are looking for the ease of detail given using larger beads. For consistant numbering and sorting, we use a 4 digit color number at BeadFX.  DBM-1 becomes DBM-0001 etc.
