Czech Firepolish BeadsMade in Czech, these beads are shaped while hot, and then "firepolished" (gently heated with a flame) to eliminate surface marks. Reasonably inexpensive, they are one of the staples of beadmaking. They come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes and colours and finishes (We have about a thousand different style- and colour- combinations. )
While the facets are not as sharply defined as those cut into the glass by machines as in the crystal beads - they still do sparkle but are subtle enough for a casual or corporate-chic look.
