Rose Montees & Rivets

A Rose Montee is a rhinestone that comes pre-mounted in a metal cup - with holes in it. Traditionally these were for sewing onto clothing, like wedding dresses, costumes, figure skating outfits, carnival costurms, what have you. Tthese days - some crazy innovative people have also been working them into bead weaving designs, bracelets and more! Call us crazy too - but if it has a hole through it - it's fair game. The rhinestones are prong set (not glued - the mechanical nature of the prong is more secure than glue). The cup or base is metal - so do not use with Nymo or easily cut thread - use wire or beading wire/cable (i.e. Softflex) instead.

Rivets - a classy touch for leather or denim or whathaveyou. Make the hole first, insert the rivet, press on the back.
