How to place an order

Using our online shopping cart

When you see an item you would like to purchase, select the quantity you want from the drop down "Quantity" box, then click on the "Add To Cart" button. You will be taken to your shopping cart, where you can adjust the quantity or remove items.

Troubleshooting Our shopping cart is cookie-based. This allows you to continue to add to your order over time. You can continue to add to your order over a period of days. If you are unable to put more than one item in the shopping cart, please make sure you have "cookies" turned on. This option is in your web browser (the program you are using to view this page) and is usually under "Edit, Preferences" or "Tools, Internet Options", depending on which browser you are using. If you are using a computer at work, you might not have the option to change this.

Return to the page you were on by clicking on "Continue shopping," or by clicking on the back button on your browser.

Once you have selected all the items you want to purchase, you can click on any of the "checkout" buttons -- which are on each product page and also on the main catalogue index page.

You will then see a page that will show everything you have put in your shopping cart.

Click on "process order," to continue.

If you are a returning customer and have registered, enter your email address in the Members box. This will save you having to re-type your address each time you purchase.

Please enter your "Ship to:" address and click on "Continue."

Select your method of payment. You can pay via your major credit card online. All our online transactions are sent via secure server and processed by InternetSecure. Your credit card number is never sent to us.

Alternately, you can choose the "callback" option — this is especially useful if you prefer to not send your credit card information over the internet or if you have a question and would like us to call you.

Select this option to have us call you when we have filled your order.

If you prefer, you can also generate a printable order form and fax us your information, or snail mail us your order with a cheque or money order. U.S. orders, please note: we can not process US money orders imprinted "Negotiable Only in the US and Possessions."

The option is called "Mail Fax Phone."

(Don't forget to click on continue and then "process order" - otherwise - we don't get the product numbers and the order takes longer to fill!)

Note: if you are placing an order for a one-of-a-kind item via snail mail (regular post), please email us or phone us (toll free in North America at +1.877.473.BEAD (2323) ) to let us know. It's possible that someone else could purchase the item before we receive your order!

We also accept payment via paypal. Use the callback option or email us the order. Please call or email us to confirm the total and to get the ID to send the money to.

Items are listed in Canadian Funds. (We are working on an option so that you can shop in US dollars, but this is not yet complete). Once an item has been added to the shopping cart, it will show your subtotal in Canadian and an approximate price in US Dollars. Your credit card will be charged in your local currency, converted on the day that your credit card company processes the transaction, using the rate that they choose for that day. We have no control over the currency that you are charged in. The prices that you see listed with each product are approximate and do not fluctuate with the currency exchange rate - they are only for the convenience for those who are not used to converting Cdn to US dollars.
