Sterling Silver Bracelet Kit
Make your own sterling silver bracelet. Use our beads or provide your
own to make a one-of-a-kind bracelet that will dazzle and delight
you everytime you wear it.
Included in the kit are:
- Complete instructions (see
the instructions here!)
- 8 inches of heavy sterling chain - enough to make a bracelet for virtually
any size wrist. This is a very substantial chain, with a lot of heft
and weight to it!
- 1 sterling clasp
- 30 sterling daisy spacers
- 15 sterling round beads
- 15 sterling headpins
we reserve the right to substitute similar items of equal or greater
value, as availability dictates.

Lampwork Bead Sets and Lampwork Plus Sets
|
|
A word about
lampwork bead making:
For those of you who are not familiar with how lampwork beads are
made, they are made by hand, one at a time, by melting rods of glass
in a 2,000 degree flame, onto a stainless steel rod, using gravity
and surface tension to shape them. Each colour you see is a different
coloured rod of glass. They are built-up in layers from the centre
to the outside, and then annealed overnight in a kiln for strength
and durability. A great deal of practice and experience is required.
However; Our resident
beadmakers are artists, and we have all concluded
that there is nothing that will make them not want to make a bead
faster than us telling them exactly what to make. Sooooo —
recognizing that, but knowing that you still want these lovely,
skillfully-made works of art, we have given up trying to offer you
a catalogue of beads that look like they were made in a factory
(which defeats the purpose of buying something handmade anyway),
and offer you, instead, the opportunity to buy beautiful, handmade
beads, as individual and unique as you are, based on colourways
— defined colour sets — rather than a very specific description.
This makes our tempermental-artist beadmakers happy, and you happy
too!

you may get white-hearts, or dots, or circles, or bumps, or stripes,
or eye-beads, or swirls or who knows what our talented beadmakers
come up with! And, if you have a request for a colourset — you
can email
us and ask us about that too! Because we make these, the quantity
available indicates stock available for immediate shipping. We can
make more. If you want more, just let us know.
