Stone Beads — Rhodonite (Rhodochrosite when available), Tourmaline, Pink Stones.

Rhodonite is an opaque, pink stone. The rarer Rhodochosite has strong patterns and often more dramatic. The Inca's believed that Rhodochrosite was the blood of their former rulers, turned to stone.

Tourmaline comes in many colours, and in fact, the root of the name Tourmaline comes from the Sinhalese word "turamali" meaning "many colours." Generally, it shades from pink to green, sometimes times as dark as black.

We try to choose consistent stock, but the nature of natural stones is that there will be inconsistency between strands and between individual beads.
