CRYSTALLIZED™ — Swarovski Elements Flatback Rhinestones — Chaton Rose (pronounced "shay-ton")

Due to popular demand, we are now pleased to offer CRYSTALLIZED™ — Swarovski Elements stones. You can glitz up your cellphone, your sandals, whatever you want! These are the Flatback Rhinestones, 2012 style (also known as chaton rose). These are glue-on stones, but not the "hot-fix." (Hot-fix has a heat-activated glue already on the back of the stone.) They are sized in "SS" - stone size - which is traditional, but meaningless to most of us. See the conversion chart below for sizes in mm.

Instructions for Application:

• Use a precision tip glue, but not a cyanoacrylate (super glue) - as those can discolour the foil backing. We like the Hypo-tube Cement for hard surfaces - try a fabric glue for fabric, like Hypo Cement - Fabric.
• Put a tiny drop of glue, and position the stone onto it. It helps to practice a few first.
  The easiest way to precisely position the stone is with an applicator stick. Perfect Positioner for Stones. Or, to make your own, take some bee's wax, about the size of a large bean, and roll it in your fingers until it is warm, soft and slightly sticky. Mold this onto the end of a toothpick or bamboo skewer. Use this to pick up the rhinestone on the top side, and place it gently on to the glue. It sticks to the wax, but sticks more to the glue, and so releases off the applicator. (if the wax gets too cool to stick, warm it slightly in your fingers or near a light - not on the lightbulb!)
