Course Outline

doubleknotbuttonnecklace

Have you ever wondered about those little woven buttons on traditional Chinese clothing?  Well now the mystery is solved with this easy to learn knot.

The double button knot can be tied alone or in multiples to make a special necklace cord or tied between beads to add texture to a design.  This knot works well with rat-tail, leather and waxed cotton cord and many other materials.

This class will teach how to successfully tie the knot, how to use it in designs and how to apply it to make pair of earrings.

There will be lots of cord and bead choice to satisfy everyone’s individuality and creativity.
