A quick project which is sure to delight all of your friends as you won't be able to make just one!

The interweaving of beads held firm with square stitch nodes becomes a vehicle to explore colour ideas.

Technique Focus: Square stitch with picot edging

Skill Level: Beginner

Instructor: Cindy has been avidly beading for somewhere around 10 years now. Beads and beading are a fascination and a compulsion for her as both her impressive bead stash and portfolio of finished works can attest. She is happiest when her hands are busy and can think of no better activity than beading to fulfill this need. She also plays with clay between beading and making her living as a set painter/house painter.

Supplies: Supplies are not included. Items may be purchased in the store prior to class. Students receive a 15% discount on the day of the class. Items required: 5 crystals or other decorative junction beads. The example uses 9mm rondelles. Size 6/0 seed beads, size 11/0 seed beads in two colours, a clasp, and nymo or fireline beading thread.
