Fusing for Fun-A Fun Introduction to Fusing Glass 2-Hour Workshop

This fun 2 hour workshop is designed to give students a glimpse into fusing glass. Students will have time to make 2 pendants or 1 pendant and a pair of earrings.

The workshop will include a brief discussion about fusing and what is involved. Pieces will be assembled during the class, but will be fired after the class and ready for pick up one week later. Pieces can be picked up or mailed.

This workshop is designed for those students who love the look of fused glass and would like to make their own personalized pieces. This is not a comprehensive fusing class, but rather a fun way to make a few beautiful pieces.

Instructor: Glass bead artist, Kathleen Kroeger, practises the Art of Creating One-of-a-Kind Art Glass Buttons and Jewellery in her Toronto studio. Through BEJEWELED & BEDAZZLED, she hand makes high quality art glass buttons and jewellery that have an air of sophistication.

Kathleen’s artistic talents were given full reign after breast cancer prevented her from returning to her law practice; she now donates a portion of every sale to research efforts to eradicate the disease. Although primarily self-taught, Kathleen has also had formal training in all areas of her art from both local and internationally-renown artists.
