Course Outline

murrini faces

During this 2 day workshop you will learn how to create your own murrini. Using Effetre glass you will learn how to create a design in cross section at the torch, heating the molten mass, and then pulling into a rod. Much like pulling taffy, this technique draws the design down into miniature, so you can slice the cane and add it to your work for fine detail.

Skill Level: Advanced beginner/intermediate level

Prerequisite: An introductory class and a few months of practising on your own.
