Making Marbles

Marbles - what fun! You can make marbles using soft glass. Learn how to work off-mandrel, how to shape the glass, get it round, and get it into the kiln! Students usually finish at least two marbles in the class. (Some lampworking experience is required.)

Lucy will start with an introduction to marble-making, followed by a demonstration. The balance of the class will be hands-on practical.

Students need to have some lampworking experience. Bring your own glass or purchase here in the studio. (Soft glass) Marble molds will be provided.

Instructor: A rising star, Lucy Weir has demonstrated a phenomenal natural talent in working with glass, and is a soft-spoken, kind and gentle instructor.

Time: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
