Course Outline

In this 3 hour class, students will learn how to make fanciful earrings using various wire wrapping and sculpting techniques. Student will also learn the properties of various types of wire and learn the appropriate wire to use with different projects.

Students will attempt to complete the following projects: 2 Bead Swirl Earrings, Half Swirl Earrings, Triangle & Round Earrings

Skill Level: Beginner

Price: $60(+HST), deposit or payment in advance required

Supplies: Kit includes various gauges of silver wire, enough to complete the project, and 6 ml black onyx beads. Students may also bring their own 6 ml beads if desired.

Instructor Bio

Robert, a wire sculptor, has a natural flare for creating beautiful pieces of wearable art.  His 30 years of experience in the bending and shaping of metals has made the transition to wire sculpting a natural one.

He has taught private lessons in the art of wire sculpture to custom jewellery makers.

Robert's work has been featured in the Port Hope Evening Guide and has been available through boutiques in the area.
