Course Outline:

This class will get the beginner started learning about chainmaille by doing a "Celtic Star" chainmaille pendant, which demonstrates the importance of "Aspect Ratio", what it is and how it affects the size of jumprings that can be used in a specific chainmail weave.

Skill Level: Beginner /Intermediate

Prerequisite: N/A

Price: $30 (+GST), payment in advance required

Kit Fee: $20 plus tax. Kit includes written instructions, practice jumprings & sterling silver jumprings.

Instructor Bio:

Ever since she was a small child, Rosemary (a.k.a. the Magpie), has been drawn to pretty, shiny objects. However, it wasn't until she started beading a couple of years ago that Rosemary realized she could make jewelry for herself. From beading, Rosemary moved on to making chainmaille jewelry and also likes to experiment with Art Clay Silver.
