Course Outline The Level One Art Clay Certification course consists of 9 projects and three days of instruction, with very specific projects that need to be completed to a set standard. The course covers many different Art Clay techniques, including the use of organic forms, creating flat and round-shank rings, addition and firing of gemstones and glass, as well as creating a mirror finish. Upon successful completion you are able to instruct others and you will receive a discount on material through Art Clay USA, and distributors.

Instructor Bio Sophia Tink is the owner of "Sophia's Fashion In Flowers & Jewellery Art Studio" located in the Haliburtan Highlands. She is a professional Artist and Instructor who has been creating unique one-of-a-kind offerings since 1982. Her formal training started with the Sogetsu Ikebana School in the Japanese Art of Floral Design, which lead her to become a Senior Level Certified Art Clay Silver & Gold Jewellery Maker/Instructor. Sophia is one of four Senior Instructores in Canada and is a faculty member of Sir Sandford Fleming College haliburton School of the Arts. She is also a graduate from the Jewellery Arts Program at Sir Sandford Fleming College.
