Sterling Pebble Cup Necklace

Course outline: Join Kelly for this fun and basic class that covers a wide range of jewelry making skills. This sterling cup with fine silver pebbles makes a beautiful necklace and incorporates accurate measuring, sawing, soldering and fusing. This project has some organic and creative possibilities in how deep you dome your cup to the arrangement of your pebbles. The class fee includes all materials except the chain which can be purchased from BeadFX.

Skill level: Beginner Plus/Intermediate

Prerequisite: Students should have some sawing and soldering skills.

Technique: Metalworking: measuring, sawing, soldering and fusing.

Bring to class: Please bring your studio apron and lunch for this class. Coffee and cold drinks will be available.

Class cancellation policy: If you need to cancel, please let us know 5 days prior to the class. Cancellations made later than that will forfeit the class deposit or fee. We may re-schedule or cancel classes if we do not receive the minimum number of bookings, or in case of bad weather or instructor illness. In this case, you will be notified and the fees will be refunded or issued as store credit.

About Kelly Garland

Kelly is bench jeweler, metal artist and instructor who also dabbles with beading and glass bead looming from her studio in the beautiful bluffs area of Toronto, Canada. Kelly has studied and trained through the Jewelry Methods Program at George Brown College, Toronto and is currently pursuing a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) designation from the Gemological Institute of America.
