Jennifer has been playing with molten glass for some 7 years now. Her trademark focals show a richness of colour and texture. She continuously experiments with metals, reduction techniques, and florals in some form. (See some of her work here)

Want to expand your repetoire, or simply trying to get a handle on how to work with stringer?

Metals: Metal Foils and their Effects.

Fascinated with all those interesting metal effects. Includes working with foils, silver, gold, copper. Reative effects with the glass that create interesting colours. Using a reduction flame.

Florals

Encased florals, plunged centers, trapped air bubbles. The encased floral is a classic the world of lampworking. Master the this classic by seeing and doing.

The class is 3 hours, with lots of practice time. The cost is $120.00 (+ GST), or $40.00 per hour if you wish to cover other items. All the equipment and glass that you will require is included. This class will be booked on an ad hoc basis, please call to arrange.

The beads you make in class will be kiln-annealed and will be available for pick-up the following business day or we are happy to mail them to you at no extra charge.

Please wear cotton fabric clothing, long, tight-fitting sleeves, old jeans, and if you have long hair, please tie it back. Safety glasses are provided.

In addition, student get a 15% discount in store on beads on the day of their class.
