Flowers and Stars - Lampwork bead by Dwyn Tomlinson

The inky black depths of the midnight sky - with a sprinkling of stardust. Giant yellow poinsettias drifting through the darkness. The shape of the bead gives the illusion that it is curved. The bead is curved, actually, but the bead hole is straight. 34 mm long. Beautiful!

Blue Magic — Dichro Tablet Bead

With a wave of her wand, the Blue Fairy transformed Pinocchio into a real boy. But the Blue Fairy can transform much more than that!

The all-but-invisible white core is the backdrop for swirls of cobalt blue, richly encased in a thick layer of silver blue dichro. Truly magical! A rather demure (for me) 1.25 inches long.

Made from Moretti glass, dichroic glass. Properly kiln annealed for durability and strength.

From the Magic Forest

Found in the magic forest, a tree stump. This tree was cut by elves to make their fables long-bows. Since then, the tree has grown this wonderful lichen with special properties of healing and seeing the future. Sample it at your own risk!

As I was encasing this bead (with my new stash of Lauscha clear, naturally!) - I was struck, during the process, of how it was looking like a tree stump. So, I went with that instead, building up the roots. Whether you hang it vertically or not is up to you, but I envision something with maybe some fairy charms, maybe leaf beads? This was made on a 1/8 mandrel, so it has a large hole.
