So what has Maureen been up to lately?
Maureen, one of our resident designers has been up to a few things lately.
We offered a class last fall with Stephanie Sersich - these are some of the bracelets Maureen has made from them - they are constructed by knotting beads on cord. The beads are a combination of commercial pressed glass beads and some of Maureen's own lampwork beads.
This Necklace is constructed with the same techniques, and also features a large lampworked heart bead by Lucie Weir, and some of Maureen's own lampwork beads. Maureen took a glass with Dwyn Tomlinson and admits to being as completely addicted to lampworking as she expected to be.
Auntie Gwen's Mixes
A package of Auntie Gwen's Random Bead Mix, and you can be amused for hours. These projects came from one bag of mix, with the addition of some lampworked beads.
