May Heats Up with Lots of Classes!

The weather isn’t exactly feeling very Spring-like with lots of rain and cool temperatures (at least, here in Toronto) but the possibilities of creativity is heating up our classroom and studios.

Anne Marie Desaulniers brings us a new taking on mixed media – combining paper, resin and copper for a pendant! Marilyn Gardiner will share all she knows about the Byzantine chainmaille pattern and help you create your own project using this classical pattern. Iris Rogers Melamed teaches how to foldform metal and Bonni Poch has two classes working with tubular bead crochet and cubic right-angle weave. If you like working with two-hole beads, you can join Pamela Kearns with a spiral rope project. Boris Kolodny is teaching how to cut cabochons that you can use in your own designs. Need help with your projects or more time to finish class projects? Join BeadFX staff at our open bead sessions and open metal studios. There are lots of opportunities!

We are featuring our June, July and August classes at a new event on Sunday, May 14. Join us for Summer Classes in the City to see the projects lined up for the summer, including our new Comprehensive Summer Courses that will be technique-driven and give you as much information as possible in a multi-day course. Single-class, project classes will also be given in lots of jewellery-making techniques too.
