Re-set your 2017 class goals!

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
– Les Brown

I always think of September as a mini-New Year. It’s a time is re-set my goals and give a little push toward what I want to do. In fact a lot of calendars that you find in stores are geared to the school year because it is a new start and a chance to set new goals. I’m always looking to learn new things so two classes I’m planning to take is Crochet de Luneville/Tambour Embroidery with Catherine Sequalino Portier (a new instructor!) and the Sterling Lotus Flower Pendant with Labradorite metalwork pendant with Kelly Garland. It’s good for me to get out of my comfort zone once in a while.

You’re invited to get out of your comfort zone too and try something new – there are certainly lots of options! Pamela Kearns (yes, me) is teaching a new peyote project that will make you look at time in a new light. How about working on your wire skills with Lucie Lee‘s new Swarovski pendant design? Deb Muss is teaching a new one-day introductory lampworking class that will get you started creating your own glass beads. If you want more opportunities to work with an open flame, take a look at Ann Shewan‘s torch enamelling class! Sureka Sriharan‘s bracelet class will get you stitching with beads in no time. You get the idea – and there’s still lots more classes to discover.
