15% off the Great Wall of Czech (Beads)

Not all Czech-made beads are Seed beads nor Faceted Fire Polished. Some are “pressed” glass – pressed into shape while hot. And some are just handmade, like the pendant leaves. But we have a wall of Czech glass in the store – and so we thought we’d highlight some of it by making it 15% off until December 13th!

Coins

Coins
Coin beads – flattish, roundish, coin-shaped! These are excellent in bracelets

because they lay comfortably flat on your wrist!

Cubes

Cubes
Is there something about glass – traditionally so round and curvy,

that says it shouldn’t be shaped into cubes?

Fabulous Shapes

Fabulous Shapes
Shapes, shapes, shapes! Pressed glass means just that, the glass

rod is heated and pressed in molds to make the shapes. From stars

to nuggets to Chili Peppers and Dragon Toes – we have some inspiring

shapes.

Leaves
Leaves
Leaves and Flowers, Flowers and Leaves.

And you don’t have to use them as flowers

and leaves, of course. Sometimes you just

enjoy them for their colour and form!

Glass Rondelles/Tires/Donuts

Glass Rondelles/Tires/Donuts
Smooth tire shapes – excellent as spacers and to extend the bigger beads.
Lampwork Pendant Leaves

Lampwork Pendant Leaves
Delicate, handmade. Perfect for earrings.
Melons

Melons
The classic melon cut – with a set of pressed

ridges from end to end, like a pumpkin!

Ovals

Ovals
Like the coins – flat ovals are very comfy to wear as bracelets.

The bigger one are good in necklaces as they show a lot of

surface without as much weight.

Pinched Round

Pinched Round
Happy little blobs of colour.
Pressed Pattern Glass

Pressed Pattern Glass
These have interesting designs pressed into the glass –

making them resemble hand-carved gems!

Tablets

Tablets
Mostly squares and rectangles here, and again, the low

profile makes them great for bracelets!

Un-Buried Treasure

Un-Buried Treasure
ah – unburied treasure – one of my faves – handpicked beads in

a variety of shapes and sizes, designed to look ancient and well-

travelled.
