Celebrate National Craft Month

The Association for Creative Industries (formerly the Craft & Hobby Association) celebrates March as National Craft Month. Studies have acknowledges that crafting – beading, knitting, painting, metalwork, lampworking, and all other creative pursuits – causes positive emotional and physical benefits to the crafter. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m willing to ‘craft’ at any time, during any month, and for any reason! But knowing that crafting is good for me certainly gives me lots of reasons to pick-up my beads, my weaving and anything else handy and start creating something fun!

Celebrate your jewellery-making ‘craft’ of choice and explore a new technique with a class at BeadFX! New classes in early-March include a polymer clay class with Bonni Poch and Deborah Beesley is back with a fun wire work necklace project. Iris Rogers Melamed has a brand new Hot Connections class that will have you mix and matching your metals!
