Think like a Designer with late-May classes

Imagine translating this image into bead embroidery, or enamel, or lampworked beads, or metalwork: where would you start? The incredible colours of the flowers? The shape of the tulip petals? Would you identify a single flower or try to capture the mass of the field?

Learning a technique is the first step in designing your own piece of art jewellery. Once you become familiar with how to put components together, you can then create your own look – and ultimately – your own designs! Our late-May classes feature a wide variety of techniques for all levels of jewellery making. New classes include a stunning pendant featuring metalwork with Iris Rogers Melamed that will include cold-connections, sawing and piercing and stone-setting. Angela Peace has a new pearl-knotting course that uses no tools – no awls, no tweezers, no nothing!
