Connect the Dots: Dot Stitch Bracelet

August 22 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Cdn $40.00 +Kit fee: $10, payable to the instructor the day of the class.

Course outline: Spiral rope is extremely versatile and variations are unlimited. In this class with Pamela Kearns, you’ll learn how to do the Dot Stitch version of Spiral rope while making yourself a bracelet. This fun stitch creates clusters that resemble miniature beaded beads.

Bring a variety of shaped beads that you can use; there isn’t a wrong combination of beads – the possibilities are endless! You will also see examples of how you can use the same stitch to create a pendant.

Skill level: Beginner

Prerequisite: N/A

Technique: Seed beading

Bring to class: This is a chance to bust your stash! Bring a selection of beads in a colour scheme of all shapes and sizes: seed beads, pips, cubes and more! You may need to purchase some 6mm druks or fire polish beads to supplement your selection. You will have access to a limited seed bead stash from the instructor too. Sharp scissors, beading needle, 6lb or 8lb Fireline, magnification if required; a clasp and findings will be needed to finish your piece.

Of special note: the class patterns and instructions from our classes are for your personal use only. Please respect the intellectual property of our artists/instructors by not sharing, selling, or teaching the patterns you receive from the classes you take.
