Peyote Boot Camp: Going Beyond the Basic Triangle

October 14, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Cdn $80.00

Course outline: So, you’ve learned to make a triangle and may have joined them to create a bracelet or a kaleidoicycle (or three!), but there’s more you can do!

Discover how to use triangular peyote to create a bezel for sparkling triangular Swarovski rivolis! You’ll learn how to start with a hole in the centre and expand and then decrease to capture the rivoli.

As with all of my other Boot Camps, the class will be technique driven and all the materials you need to learn the technique, with written instructions, will be included in the class fee. You will then apply the technique to one of several projects that will be available or you may design your own project with my help. Any materials needed for the projects will be your responsibility to purchase but are readily available at BeadFX and you can use your student discount to purchase them. The available projects will include a bracelet, a pendant and a pair of earrings.

Skill level: Intermediate

Prerequisite: Must have experience in making a flat peyote triangle with step-ups. Want to learn how to do flat triangles? Click here to find out more about the September 13 basic triangle class.

Technique: Creating triangular bezels

Bring to class: 4lb or 6lb Fireline; beading needle to fit size 11/0 Delica beads; magnification if necessary; materials for your chosen project, scissors to cut Fireline.

Of special note: the class patterns and instructions from our classes are for your personal use only. Please respect the intellectual property of our artists/instructors by not sharing, selling, or teaching the patterns you receive from the classes you take.
