Whimsical Freeform Peyote: Beaded Beads
May 26 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pmCdn $60.00 +Kit fee: $10, payable to the instructor the day of the class.
Course outline: Anne Marie Desaulniers will help you stretch your skills by beading your way out of the Peyote Stitch box! Prepare to work intuitively, while covering a wooden bead with different sizes and shapes of seed beads. Add a single freeform bead, to a simple chain, and make a statement…add a few more, for a stunning necklace! A good way to use up some of those leftover beads. Suitable for hostess gifts &/or holiday gift giving! Definitely not a beginner project, as a working knowledge of either Even- and/or Odd-Count Peyote is necessary. Note: a kit is required; see below.
Skill level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Comfortable working knowledge of peyote stitch
Technique: Covering a wooden bead with Freeform Peyote Stitch
Bring to class: Enthusiasm, a smile, and a sense of humour. If you prefer to work within a particular colour theme, please bring along a selection of different sizes/shapes of seed beads.
Of special note: the class patterns and instructions from our classes are for your personal use only. Please respect the intellectual property of our artists/instructors by not sharing, selling, or teaching the patterns you receive from the classes you take.
