BeadFX … Who are we?
We are a bunch o' crazy ladies (and a couple of bemused male relatives) — crazy about beads. We buy 'em, sell 'em, make 'em. We think, eat, sleep, talk beads. We look for beads everywhere. We go on vacation and look for beads, we cruise the internet looking for beads. We nag our supplies about quality, variety, cost. We know that WE want to buy the best beads at the best prices, and we know you want to as well!
What can we do for you? We provide beads (and findings and other stuff) so that you can make beautiful jewelry. Make jewelry for yourself at a fraction of the cost of retail. Make lovely, thoughtful gifts. Make it for sale. Make it as an heirloom or for tonight's party! Make it as personal statement. Don't know how? We've got you covered there too. We have classes and kits.
We do have a store as well as this online site, and we are open to the public, 7 days a week. We do offer a discount to businesses, and we have a "Frequent Beader Program."

Handmade Lampwork Beads
We have an in-house bead studio where we handmake lampwork beads. Perfect for the collector or custom designer. We have a large selection instore, which, as they are one-of-a-kind - never make it to the website. You can see some examples here.
Art Clay Silver
We are the Canadian source for Art Clay Silver brand metal clay. Metal clay is a pure metal power, in a water-based clay form. Mold it, model it, sculpt it, and then fire it into pure silver. Cool, eh?

Glass Studio
We offer classes and studio rental. Taken a lampworking class or looking to make glass beads? Can't convince your family that a torch in the living room is a good idea? Come work with us. Qualified lampworkers on the premises 99.9% of the time, so you can most always get help. We provide use of a Minor bench burner (natural gas and oxygen), basic tools, didymium safety glasses, pre-dipped mandrels and kiln time. Glass and other supplies are available for purchase or bring your own.

Beadstringing & Other Beading Techniques A variety of instructors offering a variety of techniques, from basic beadstringing and jewellery-making techniques to more exotic techniques and items. |
Lampwork Beadmaking Take our 4-hour class introductory class that introduces you to the wonderful world of beadmaking. Learn to make a basic bead, dots, bumps, encasing, pull stringer, use foil, frit, make florals (as time permits.) Completely hands-on. Or, sign up for our 8 week Lampworking 101 class. Additional intermediate classes available too - check our schedule. |

We are primarily a retail store, but we do offer a discount for businesses, and we can special order by request. The business discount is 20%. Currently, there is construction happening that makes turning onto Civic Road impossible. If travelling on Eglinton, turn off at "Prudham Gate" to get to Civic (Which is the first street to the east of Warden). If travelling on Warden, turn at Sherry and go north. Construction is scheduled to continue until the end of Summer, 2008.

Our customer satisfaction policy is simple — Satisfaction Guaranteed. We want you to be happy and we'll do what it takes to make you happy. If you're not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it for a full refund within 30 days. As long as it's in it's original condition of course! You can shop with confidence! We try to scan our products as clearly as possible, but what you see will largely depend on your screen resolution, monitor, and graphics card. We will try to resolve any discrepancies as quickly as possible. If you find a problem with your shipment please let us know as quickly as possible.
We make every effort to fill orders correctly and promptly. Sometimes our shopping cart gets out of sync with our actual inventory. We like to contact you and ask if you would care to substitute or back order that item. In order to do this, please ensure that you give us a valid email address that you actually check email at, or a daytime phone number, so that we can communicate promptly.
Should we be out of an item, and we do not have an acceptable substitute or you do not care to wait, we will cheerfully refund your missing item!
Occasionally, if we expect to receive an item within 2 weeks, we will ship it separately at no extra charge. If this is not acceptable, please let us know and we will do our best to satisfy you.
