I thought I'd try to get in one last summer inspiration before fall starts, and who says you can't wear summery colours in the winter anyway? This one is far too elegant to put away.

I was pawing through my bead stash, and came across this half finished bracelet that I started probably when we first got in the summer thunder beads a year ago. Has it been that long? I just finished it tonight, and I'm really quite enamored with it.

I've used almost a full strand of the summer thunder beads, and then added some metal, and Swarovski's for a little accent. I also couldn't resist adding in a little bronze clay worry bead that I made. It fits perfectly!

I do want to mention an important little note about the clasp. Since the beads, and chain we are using are fairly large, you will want to make a little chain link of about 3 jump rings long to add to the bar part of the toggle - otherwise, you will not be able to get the bar through the toggle. I've almost starting doing this as common practice. I can't tell you how many times I've made a bracelet, only to have to take the toggle part apart. I learn the hard way. - I've included a close up pic so that you can see what I'm referring to.
