When I sit down to design jewelry, whether it's for me - or for the store. I rarely have an idea in mind. Rather, I like to sort through all of my beads and findings - and let the beads decide what the project will be. Unfortunately, this is a rather time consuming method. However, I love beads for their own sake. I don't really have to do anything with them to enjoy the process. Looking at them is sometimes enough.

Today, a strand of Tunisian Desert tabs were calling out to me. I love tabs, especially for bracelets, as they sit flat on your wrist, and tend not to get in the way. While I love big chunky bracelets, they're not always practical to wear for those of us who use a computer all day, or do a lot with our hands. And I hate having to take off my jewelry while I'm working.

I combined 4 of these tabs with 5 sections of chain. Each section is wire wrapped to form a secure link.  4 more lengths of wire, this time plain were cut, and the whole piece was secured with a jump ring on each end. This would look particularly nice with a bunch of different types of chain, but I was working from home, and not the store - this is what I had :-)
