A variation on the Y necklace - named for the shape of the main part of the necklace. This one features 3 crystal hearts wired into a decorative focal - but could be any showy crystals - as the detailed directions demonstrate. (The photos  feature  3 crystal starfish. It wasn't until after I finished this that I realized that it might be non-obvious how to create the centerpiece - so I had to re-do that part and take photos, and I was out of hearts.)

1. Cut a piece of wire about 10 inches in length.
2. Slide a bead to the center and make a few twists
3. Slide a second bead about 2 inches to one side, and make a few twists to hold in position
4. Do the same on the other side with the third bead
5. Continue twist, adding evenly on each side, until the three "stems" meet.
6. Add beads to the doubled wire
7. Separate the wires, and add beads on each side of the Y, making a wrapped loop after the last bead.
   
8. Attach Softflex to the wrapped loop, using a crimp.
   
9. String beads on the softflex, and end with a clasp.
