Dark Matters - deep, dark, and mysterious matters. Matters a lot, actually!
It's exciting to see our wholesalers experiment with new metal finishes to expand our design choices. They still are really coordinated on what to call it, or the exact shade - and we find ourselves now with Gunmetal that looks like hematite, gunmetal that looks black, black that is shiny black, black that is inky black, black that is matte.
And so, your question logically is: "How do I know if these are going to work together?"
So check this necklace out. In order to get the components I wanted, I wound up using elements from a number of different suppliers, and I'm quite pleased with the results. I think that if you are consistent in the use of the element, the slight variations in tone matter far less than they would if you were combining, say, gold-plated, brass, or copper. Although - you know - maybe there is a design in that idea too . . . .
After all - black goes with everything - including, apparently - itself. ;-)
