When the silk first came in, one of the first things that I thought is that it would make quite a lovely updated, and more elegant version of the friendship bracelet, or bracelets that are small enough to stack up bunches of them. These are fun to make - and of course the silk comes in tons of gorgeous brilliant colours.
I like both versions of these equally well. The fairy silk gives it a bit of a softer look, and the silk cord makes a narrower bracelet.

One strand of silk is braided along with two strands of chain. Experiment with a variety of thicknesses of chain for a different look.

I found it easier to temporarily secure the braid before trying to pull all of the strands through the jump ring. Once I had it fed through - I removed that wire, and wound on a new one. For this final wrap - allow about 6" of wire, and make a very tight wrap. Pull on the bracelet to make sure everything is secure. You can now cut off all of the excess wire and silk.

Once the bracelet was finished, I then wire wrapped a few beads/crystals into the chain.
