Sequins! And not just any old sequins, but luscious, sparkly, vintage goodness. I'm smitten.

You'll want to refresh yourself on Dwyn's Rapid Loops tutorial, as this project will take you a while. It may be time consuming, but the results are stunning - and so light!

I've kept the necklace fairly simple, and of course you can make the wrapped section of the necklace any length you want.

Precut your chain to your desired necklace length.

Pre assemble a bunch of your headpins. See the images below for my choices. I did three different types, wired them on, and just kept repeating the pattern.

Start in the middle, and work your way up. When you can't handle wrapping anymore, attach a lobster clasp to the chain with jump rings.

I haven't yet attached my clasp, as I want to wrap the entire chain - but I'll probably be wrapping for the next week. In the pictures, my wrapped section is 5" long. 

Buy lots of head pins - you'll want a matching bracelet and earrings as well ;-)
