Named for the Muzo valley - source of some of the worlds most beautiful emeralds - these glorious emerald green Swarovski stones - are accented with, yes, more Swarovskis! This fabulous bracelet is easier to make than it looks, and evokes the dazzling costume jewelry of the 50's and 60's.
This bracelet capitalizes on the perfect fit between the rectangular bezel bracelet and the prong set bezels.
Apply glue to each cup in the bezel bracelet, and making sure that it is at the edges of each bezel. Then add the prong set bezel. I use tweezers to ensure that I set the prong-set bezel down in to the other bezel carefully, and without dropping it in sideways, as is my tendency. It doesn't matter if the glue oozes out toward the centre of the prong bezel - as it will not show. Let the glue cure completely before proceeding.
To set the stones. Hold the stone firmly in the bezel, and take a soft item to push with - a dowel or a pencil (no eraser) and push the prong over and down onto the stone. Turn and do the same for the opposite corner. Then do the third, and then the fourth. Use something like a dowel or pencil to avoid scratching the stone if you slip. The prongs are quite soft and easy to push. You may need to push them down a bit more if they don't snug down the first time.
The dangles are 5 wrapped loop dangles on a jumpring, and another larger jumpring attaches it to the bracelet.
