A pair of earrings this week - but the construction is a little more complex than a bead on a headpin. Still - it's not too complicated, so follow along and you can do these too!
I was very attracted to this new Bronze-infused Kingman mine turquoise, and thought they would look nice as earrings. I had my heart set on them hanging from the corners, as a diamond drop shape. However, annoyingly - the beads are square with a side-to-side hole.
Nothing daunted, I wrapped them to put the hanging loop at the corners.
After that - it is simple to add a dangle and the earwire.
To add the dangle, thread a bead on a headpin, start a loop, add it to the loop on the main bead, and then finish the wrap.
Open the loop on the earwire, add the bead assembly, and close the loop. Remember, always open loops to the side, never pull them open.
