Everything old is new again - and seedbeads and leather are both classic and fresh.

Cut your leather to length - make sure to allow for the clasp.

To make this, start by holding the two pieces of leather side by side. Do not cut the wire, but leave the wire on the spool to start. Leave a tail of wire, and beginning about 1 inch from the end of the strips, start winding wire in a figure 8 pattern around and between pieces of leather, keeping the spacing even. Finish about 1 inch away from the other end of the leather.

Now - cut the wire from the spool, leaving a goodly length (about 2 feet) to work with. Come up through both pieces of leather, and string about 8 beads onto the wire. "Sew" the beads onto the band by taking the wire down between the strips of leather and coming back up after a "cross wire."

Repeat until you have adding your beads and reached the other end.
Twist the ends together and curl up and press flat on the inside of the band.

Trim the leather if necessary to that the ends are even. Check the length with the clasp on, and if it looks ok, add the glue and attach the clasp permanently.
