The "archeology" beads we've been getting in intrigue me – they look old and evoke feelings of living on a deserted island. I matched them up with some carved bone beads and a pendant which help me get to the island too. The metal adds a bit of sparkle to the mix.
The necklace is done as a basic stringing piece and the beads are kept symmetrical. The pendant is hung on a head pin and looped at the top so that it hangs below the beads on either side. The piece is meant to hang a little higher; you can lengthen it by adding more chain to the back.
