Step 1

To start your bracelet, take your piece of softflex and string on one crimp tube, and then one side  of your toggle clasp. Then thread the softflex back through the crimp tube. Pull the crimp tube as close the then end of the toggle as possible to tighten.

Using your crimping pliers, or alternatively a pair  of flat nose pliers, crimp or flatten the tube to secure. If you are using your flat nose pliers to flatten the tube, it's a good idea to also squeeze the tube with the tips of your round nose pliers for good measure!

(full crimping instructions here)

Step 2

Stringing on your beads.
String on 1 6mm foil bead. Go through both wires, now before you string on any more beads, clip off the extra wire from when you made your loop to attach the clasp. Use your wire cutters and clip off as close to the bead as you can.
Now you're ready to string on the rest of the beads. In the following order string on:

  • 1 daisy spacer
  • 1 8mm foil
  • 1 daisy spacer
  • 1 3mm round
  • 1 chunky triangle
  • 1 3mm round
  • 1 daisy spacer
  • 1 8mm foil

Now repeat that pattern with the rest of your beads.

Step 3

Now it's time to attach the 2nd part of your clasp.

You are basically repeating step one. String on the second crimp tube, then string the other side of the toggle clasp, and again bring the softflex back through the crimp tube to create a loop. String the softflex through the 6mm bead at the end. Pull the softflex so that your bracelet is taut, but not so tight that your bracelet is buckling up.

Now you want to crimp or flatten the crimp tube to secure the beads.

Step 4

You're almost done!

You now just need to attach the dangle. Using the instructions for the simple heart earrings, string the remaining beads on to the headpin, string the headpin through the small loop on the round part of the toggle clasp. Create a loop, and wrap the wire around itself as tightly as possible.

(More instructions on creating a wrapped loop here)

That's it! You have now created a stunning bracelet that is sure to bring many compliments.
