The shiny new extreme sterling softflex makes it possible to leave the bead cable showing. Take a length of softflex (about 6 inches) and thread the centre bead (has to have a horizontal hole, 1 curvy tube, 1 sterling round, 1 curvy tube, and now thread through the bead again, in the opposite direction that you went before.
| Snug up tight. | |
Add a crimp tube, and pass both ends of the wire through it in opposite directions.
Then pass one end through again, to make a loop. |
Flatten the crimp tube with chain nose pliers. You don't have enough room to get the crimp pliers into the top loop, and it isn't necessary. |
| Trim the wire off with your cutters. | |
Open the loop on the earwires (twist to the side, don't pull straight out.) and hang the earring.
Voila - how easy was that? |
