As we are heading into a brand new year, now is the time to plan new ideas, techniques and jewellery-making applications. Being in a large city like Toronto, we are fortunate to be able to draw on a wide variety of jewellery-making artists who are eager to share their expertise with you.
As you know, we offer seed beading, mixed media, chainmaille, wirework, metal clay, metalwork and lampworking. We have 18 local instructors who regularly schedule classes at BeadFX and several who will accommodate private classes.
Is there something you would like to learn that we haven’t offered? Share your ideas with us!
Email me, Pamela Kearns, at firstname.lastname@example.org with your ideas, suggestions and thoughts. Be as specific as you want – such as ‘how about more classes using wire to wrap stones’, or ‘I’d like to learn bead crochet’ – that will help me in my search for ideal classes.
Note that we can’t teach other designer’s projects (copyright infringement and all that), so we are looking for techniques you want to learn.
Our instructors are sending me their January and February projects now and you’ll soon see the classes on-line. Mark your calendars now to attend Meet the Teachers on Saturday, January 4 so you can see for yourself the exciting learning opportunities.
2019 isn’t finished yet and we have more new classes coming in November and December – so stay tuned!
