More stuff to pour resin into, stuff your polymer clay into, load up with 2-part epoxy clay and encrust with rhinestones, use as frames for bead embroidery, loom work, or bead stitching. Nothing sets off your creativty like a nice framework.
These wide cuffs are a handsome statement. Just slip a couple on as is, and you are wonder woman! (Actually – you already are wonder woman!)
But let’s say you take a piece of beading foundation, trace out the size of the space in the cuff on it, and then embroider it with beads from your stash. Then trim the foundation and glue into the channel, and you have a lovely finished look!
Now, if you are thinking of a less three-dimensional piece, we have these flat resin trays. With a closed back and a bezel edge, you can pop in some ephemera, pour on some resin, add some resin inclusions, (Lumiere Lusters, MetalFX micas, Ice Resin Glitter Shards, to list a few), and you are good to go.
Bored by traditional geometric shapes? Try …
or, two loops …
We have the bracelet bands to go with these too,
So you can do this!
Or, if you want an open back …
I think this one is particularly handsome. If you are puzzled by how to contain the resin until it sets, the trick is to seal one side by sticking the bezel down onto packing tape, filling it, letting the resin set, and peeling off the packing tape. If you want the back domed, you add a little more resin to the other side after the first part is cured.
And if you already have something you just want to glue a bail to – we have these beefy big bails, to add to our line up of bails.
On another note:
Oh, this is a one-off. We have just the one set, and it is 9 assorted pieces. In regular times, we would have just had this in-store only, but given that’s not going to help anyone these days, here is an opportunity for someone. These are the snaps for all the Snap jewelry, the Noosa Chunks, Style-in-a-Snap, etc, but these are the aromatherapy diffusers. Even if you aren’t making snap jewelry, with a little ingenuity, I’m sure you could adapt them if you want to use them for their diffuser capability. They are laser-etched wood – a very term that speaks of the contradictions of modern life – and you dab a little of your scented oils on them to carry their scent with you. Everything like that makes me sneeze, but some of you are more fortunate. Remember – one of the first signs of the COVID-19 virus is the loss of the sense of smell, so there maybe a powerful reason to carry something scented around with you as an early warning.

COVID-19 – This Week
We are doing curbside pickups, pre-paid only. If you are local – you should see an option to select “pick-up” in the shopping cart – which means that you will not be charged for shipping, even if you are under the free shipping limit.
If, for some reason, you do not see the option for “pick-up” – say, your address on file falls outside the computer’s definition of “local,” but you still want to come and get it, then you can choose “call-back” as an option, and tell us you want to pick it up in the comment box, and we will adjust the total, and call you for payment info.
We will call when it is ready and arrange a pick-up window of time. Pick-ups will be on Mondays to Thursdays, 11-6 pm. (Not next Monday – it’s a holiday.)
We are still shipping. Our current time frame is averaging a couple of days longer than usual, so around 4-5 days turn-around. We are only picking and shipping Monday – Thursday – so an order placed on Friday may not arrive until the following Friday. And, of course, this coming Monday is Victoria Day – if the term long-weekend even has meaning any more. Gardening? Ha! We’re still getting frosts here – tomato plants are having nervous break-downs with the trips inside and outside and inside and outside.
We are so grateful for your support and patience in these challenging times. We are cheered and warmed by your notes with your orders to “Stay Safe” and “Thank you for keeping me sane.”
Remember, Combining orders is easy – place the 2nd, 3rd, whatever, order as a “call back,” and we will combine the orders, adjust the shipping, and call you. (If you are choosing pick up, you can just note it in the additional notes section.
We are still experiencing delays in restocking – due to our sources also being short-staffed. All the shipping carriers have also changed their service levels and abandoned their service guarantees because they too are short-staffed and over-whelmed by the increase in online ordering.
Phones are being answered Monday through Thursday (11 am – 6 pm). (Next Monday is Victoria Day – so not that Monday). Emails are still being answered 7 days a week (Fri/Sat/Sun from offsite). If you need answers about does “this” go with “that,” just ask and we will try to help.
Thank you for all your good wishes. Lots of you put lovely little notes of support in the “additional info” box when placing an order. We appreciate every one of them.
Don’t forget to browse through the Manager Specials – some pretty good deals there!
