Use to hang pendants or beads with hole drilled front to back. Gently pry open, put bead on one post, and squeeze back together, lining up second post with hole. The gap where the bead fits at it's smallest is about 4.25 mm - but you could trim the end of the post off with flush wire cutters if you needed to.
